Changes

Light snow outside as I type this..

It has been a long few months, but everyone is finally happy, the kids and yes myself.. its been a very long time since I have been "happy". Of course there is always going to be something or other that makes a person un-happy.. but for now.. we are happy, the kids are settled, likeing their new schools, wishing there father would make some sort of attempt to COME and see them, but they are happy non-the-less.

My first youngest son has been happy, his Father is making an attempt to come and see him, twice now he has actually called himself and asked about coming to see my boy, which makes my boy happy and myself happy as I think he is finally starting to grow up and take his responsibilities seriously, which is more than I can say for other people..

Christmas has always been a sore spot with me, The only reason in previous years that I have even had christmas is becasue of my kids and I WILL NOT deprive thme of christmas. This year however is different, I find myself actually WANTING to put the decorations up, and not just because the kids want to, but because I want to. I'm happier that I have been in a very long, long time.

Looking forward to our New Years Eve Party, have an open invitation to everyone that wants to come, friends and family.. I don't know how many will show up, but it dosen't really matter, I'm looking forward to Ringing in the new year with my my family and starting brand new, as are the kids.
